BDF swap bodies and tractor units move your freight.

Our focus is on BDF chassis trucks with swap bodies — we run more of these than classic semi-trailers. Alongside them, modern tractor units, well-maintained and operational. Powertrain strategy: LNG and Bio-LNG, with e-trucks clearly on our radar.

LNG & BIO-LNG EXPLAINED

Why LNG and Bio-LNG matter to us.

We orient our fleet strategy consistently toward lower-emission propulsion. Here's a short, honest explainer of what LNG and Bio-LNG actually mean.

LNG & BIO-LNG EXPLAINED

What is LNG?

Liquefied Natural Gas

LNG is natural gas liquefied at -162 °C. Its volume shrinks roughly by a factor of 600, enabling long ranges in a single tank. Tank-to-Wheel (TTW) CO₂ emissions drop by up to 20% versus diesel.

At a glance

  • Up to 100 % less CO₂

With Bio-LNG, well-to-wheel emissions drop dramatically versus diesel.

  • Diesel-level range

LNG trucks comfortably cover typical heavy-haul routes without refuelling stops.

  • E-trucks on the radar

Battery-electric trucks are the next step — already in early pilot operation today.

Methodology & sources

Calculation: km × emission factor. Diesel reference: ~30 L / 100 km × 2.68 kg CO₂eq / L (WTW). LNG WTW based on ICCT 2020 / T&E 2023 (~7% less than diesel WTW after methane slip). Bio-LNG WTW based on Volvo Trucks 2025 / IEA 2023 (~80% less than diesel WTW with sustainable biomethane). Values are estimates from public industry data — not guaranteed savings for individual assignments. For your specific transport we provide verifiable figures in your quote on request.
